Raised on the North Fork of Eastern Long Island, Greg started out in the restaurant industry helping run his family's restaurant while still in high school. Greg holds BS '77 and MS '87 from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He was a faculty member at the Hotel School for 28 years before retiring to open Mercato Bar and Kitchen in 2010.
Greg is an Owner/Partner of Le Café Cent-Dix: a classic French Bistro featuring timeless café dishes such as Frisée Aux Lardons and Steak Frites. In keeping with tradition, the restaurant also offers a rotating Plats Du Jour. Distinct and varied menu selections offer great flexibility in accommodating guests' desired dining experience. Patrons are equally encouraged to treat the establishment as a wine bar for snacks or a light meal, as well as taking advantage of the full menu.
